UW Veterinary Care (UWVC) is excited to welcome a Veterinary Dialysis Technician to our Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) team.
In this role you will be responsible for providing high-level technical support and advanced veterinary patient nursing care in a specialized dialysis service. This role involves performing extracorporeal therapy services, managing intensive care inpatients, and collaborating with veterinarians and other technicians to ensure quality patient care. The technician will also instruct veterinary students and assist in research projects, while maintaining a clean and well-stocked dialysis unit. Monday-Friday from 7:30am - 4:00pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
Position will include holiday and weekend shifts. Potential for additional on-call hours as required by the hospital.Full Time: 100%
