Trust and Estates Administration Paralegal

Our client is a leading mid-sized law firm with offices around the tri-state and Florida. They are currently seeking a Full-time Trust and Estate Administration Paralegal with at least 5 years of experience for its Uniondale office. The candidate will work closely with clients, attorneys, paralegals, and accountants and should have excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills, including Excel. Paralegal Certification from an ABA-approved program is a plus. 

Responsibilities Include:

• All phases of trusts and estates administration.  
• Strong knowledge of Surrogate’s Court rules and procedures (e.g., probate, administration, accounting proceedings) is essential.  
• Familiarity with preparing estate tax returns is preferable. 

Requirements:

• At least 5+ years relevant experience.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive tasks.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work with large document intensive cases.
• Proficient in Lexis, Westlaw, Microsoft Word, Excel and ADOBE Acrobat Professional.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate.

Hybrid Hours:
Monday-Friday, 9am – 5pm with the flexibility to work overtime when needed
Minimum 3 days a week in office
2 days a week remotely

The annualized salary range for this position is $65,000 to $95,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
