Position Title: Travel Nurse - Computed Tomography Tech

Location: Templeton, CA, USA

Shift: Day Shift

Number of Weeks: 13

Salary: $50 to $60 per hour

Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Travel Nurse - Computed Tomography Tech to join our team in Templeton, CA. This position involves a day shift schedule of 40 hours per week, with specific hours as follows: Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM, and Thursday to Saturday from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The role requires some on-call responsibilities and experience with a Siemens 64 Somatom scanner as well as x-ray procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform computed tomography (CT) scans using the Siemens 64 Somatom scanner.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications and document as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the imaging area, including adequate stock of supplies.
• Share on-call responsibilities with a required 30-minute response time when needed.
• Transport patients as necessary and assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in California.
• Experience with computed tomography and x-ray procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
