About the role

We are seeking a senior visual designer to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping our brand identity and enhancing our in-product experiences through engaging, creative expression. With your multi-disciplinary expertise in brand, product, and motion design — you’ll be the bridge between marketing and UX; driving visual expression that tells the story of the Daydream brand across all channels. 

What you’ll do:

• Product design: Work closely with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to create stunning interfaces and in-app brand moments that elevate the overall user experience

• Brand design : Develop, build and maintain a cohesive, consistent brand identity and library of visual assets across all touch points from marketing to product

• Marketing creative assets: Work with marketing to design a range of creative assets including digital ads, social media graphics, email templates, and event materials 

• Creative direction and leadership: Work cross-functionally to drive the creative vision of Daydream and explore new opportunities for storytelling

Who you are

• 5+ years of design experience with a focus on visual design; inclusive of brand, graphic, motion, and product work

• Proven ability to create and evolve a robust brand identity across multiple touch points including product and marketing

• Experience working with product and engineering teams to deliver engaging, beautiful user experiences

• Strong skillset of motion design and prototyping

• Mastery across key design applications (figma, adobe, etc)

• Experience using generative AI creative tools (midjourney, media generation, etc.)

• Proven track record of developing design systems and brand guidelines

• Experience working cross-functionally across product, engineering, and marketing

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, startup environment

• Passionate about creativity, brand, and storytelling

• Multi-disciplinary creative with a versatile skillset

• Obsessive attention to detail and commitment to strong execution

• Stays up-to-date with cultural and visual trends inside and out of the digital app space

• Personal interest in fashion, digital shopping, and culture

Nice to haves:

• Experience working in digital commerce, fashion, and/or AI

• Personal interest in the intersection of fashion and technology

• Experience working with a range of companies, brands and teams (agencies, startups, big tech)
