Job Title : Senior UX/UI Designer

Location: Texas (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Required Qualifications :

• Experience in software product development, digital design, UX/UI, or a related field.
• Experience designing mockups and/or wireframes that conform to UX best practices.
• A portfolio of user research, visual design, and usability studies that demonstrate a high level of professionalism.
• Experience conducting user and usability research.
• Strong writing and organization skills.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Direct experience leading large-scale UX/UI efforts.
• Documented experience developing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in Figma or comparable design software.
• Experience ensuring designs and websites conform to federal accessibility guidelines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Documented work experience with the issue tracking software "Atlassian Jira."
• Documented experience working for or closely with TEA or another state or local education agency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead UX/UI design efforts for large-scale projects, ensuring high-quality user experiences.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma or comparable design software.
• Conduct user and usability research to enhance product usability and accessibility.
• Ensure designs align with federal accessibility guidelines and best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Utilize strong writing, communication, and facilitation skills to present design concepts and collaborate effectively.
• Maintain and update issue tracking in Atlassian Jira (if applicable).
• Provide design expertise for educational or government-related projects, especially in collaboration with TEA or similar agencies.
