Senior Marketing & Communications Director

Tampa, FL (Hybrid)

The Tampa Bay Chamber  is a non-profit business organization that supports Tampa Bay-area companies through networking, advocacy, and professional development, while promoting economic growth and community engagement.

We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Marketing & Communications Director to join our team in Tampa, FL ! The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who drives engagement and growth through effective marketing and communications initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or professional experience in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred
• 10-12 years of progressive experience in Communications
• Experience in a Chamber of Commerce or non-profit organization preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other CRM software required
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement annual strategic marketing and communications plans aligned with organizational goals.
• Manage the department budget, media contracts, and advertising agreements to maximize ROI and visibility.
• Lead and oversee marketing and communications projects from conception through completion, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
• Establish and maintain processes and standards for recurring marketing and communications activities.
• Provide leadership, direction, and performance feedback to direct reports, encouraging professional development.
• Create, edit, and oversee compelling content for newsletters, websites, press releases, reports, and social media.
• Manage external communications, including media relations and public messaging
