Job Description

PICU department is looking for help from NPs (must be critical care certified) or PAs for an ongoing position. EMR is Epic. Ideal providers can provide at least 4-6 shifts in a 4 week block. 

Job Responsibilities: PICU: 6-8 patients during the day; night call includes all patients assigned to team at checkout as well as any new admission assigned to the team.
Working Hours: Variable – days, evenings, nights, & weekends as part of a 24/7/365 coverage model
o Weekend, Night, and Holiday work is shared equally among all team members
o 12-hour Days/Nights (0700-1900, 1900-0700)
• Call: In-house night call responsibilities are shared among all team members who have completed orientation to nights.
Skills: Specialty skills and procedures: Arterial line placement, Central Venous Line Placement, Chest Tube Placement, Endotracheal Intubation, Lumbar Puncture, PICC Placement
