Responsibilities
Provides clinical services utilizing the nursing process and in accordance with hospital policy, regulatory requirements, and within the boundaries of the Nurse Practice Act.
Coordinates and manages the hospital?s workers? compensation program utilizing the nursing process and in accordance with hospital policy, regulatory requirements, and within the boundaries of the Nurse Practice Act.
Participates in the hospital?s committees related to employee safety and wellness, as requested.
Plans, organizes, directs, and/or participates in employee health and wellness education and training.
Qualifications
Associate's Degree and 3-5 years experience Adult nursing care experience or
Bachelor's Degree BSN and 1-2 years experience Adult nursing care experience
One of the following: Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hire
One of the following: Licensed RN - Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hire
Refer to Nursing and Advanced Practice Provider Licensure and Certification policy for required Life Support Certifications Required Upon Hire
COHN Certified Occupational Health Nurse COHN or COHN-S Preferred Upon Hire

Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $33.33/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work/Work from Home
This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children's Mercy locations and may not work from home.
