MUST HAVE:

• Authorized to work in the US & ability to obtain a DHS PT (Heavy Financial/Criminal Check)
• 8yrs & BS OR 12yrs & AS OR 14yrs & no degree AND CCNA or CCNP ( please send copy )
• Experience with Cisco devices & Palo Alto Firewall
• Ability to communicate project updates

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the implementation, deployment, and maintenance of networks for a federal government customers distributed enterprise network environment supporting voice, data, and video services.
• Establish networking environment by managing system configuration, installing systems, documenting system architecture, and adhering to network standards.
• Provide detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
• Configure, install, troubleshoot various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPN), LAN, and WAN.
• Provide recommended patching and upgrades ensuring mitigation of non-compliant and vulnerable hardware and software.
• Analyze user's Information Technology (IT) requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures.
• Validate system requirements and provide recommendations.
• Advise senior level customers on network architecture and optimization. Support end-user deployments via Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
