**Job Summary**
As the Mainframe Developer, you will analyze, design, program, test, and implement new and existing business application software, as well as production support for Mainframe systems utilizing COBOL, IMS, DB2, and JCL.
**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly skilled **Mainframe Developer** to join our team in a remote, full-time position. This role focuses on the analysis, design, programming, testing, and implementation of new and existing business application software, as well as production support for Mainframe systems utilizing COBOL, IMS, DB2, and JCL. This position is **full time** and **remote** .
**What You'll Do**
+ Analyze, design, and program enterprise-class applications for Mainframe systems
+ Implement and test new software components to meet business needs
+ Provide production support for existing Mainframe applications
+ Develop interfaces and reports to support business operations
+ Perform system and user acceptance testing
+ Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including coding, debugging, and testing
**What You'll Need**
Required Qualifications
+ 7+ years of experience in IMS DC
+ 7+ years of experience in IMS DB
+ 7+ years of experience in COBOL
+ 7+ years of experience in DB2
+ 7+ years of experience in JCL
+ Exceptional communication skills
+ Ability to work at a broad technical level across all phases of application systems project life cycle
+ Strong application of business knowledge and technical skills in systems development
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience in interface and report development
+ Familiarity with large, high-volume, enterprise-class applications
**Physical Demands**
+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
+ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
