Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated Jr. Data Analyst to support utility operations, particularly in the areas of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Meter Asset Management. This role involves ensuring data accuracy, tracking field equipment, supporting business systems, and resolving discrepancies in meter work documentation. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, and will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience (or 1 year with a Master's degree).
• Proficient in SQL, including writing and debugging queries.
• Working knowledge of Python, R, Tableau, and advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
• Experience with MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical issues clearly.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Agile learner capable of picking up AMI and legacy systems with proper training.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to investigate data anomalies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the utilities industry or working with metering infrastructure.
• Familiarity with field service tracking systems such as ProField Encore.
• Prior exposure to Meter Asset Management System (MAMS).
• Ability to produce clear documentation and process flows.
• Demonstrated initiative in identifying and resolving issues with minimal oversight.
