Sikla USA Inc. is a subsidiary of the German- Austrian Sikla Group, a manufacturer of modular steelwork and pipe support systems for industrial steelwork solutions. From our Duluth (GA) office our team services the North American markets (USA and Canada), what includes engineering/ technical and logistical service to our partners, distributors and MEP customers, all associated with the Sikla range of products.
This role is open to U.S.-based candidates with a background in Human Resources Management (preferred). The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all core HR functions, including time and attendance management, policy development, and personnel administration. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of U.S. labor laws, HR compliance, and employee lifecycle management.
The HR Manager will play a key role in supporting the company’s growth by ensuring that HR processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business goals. This includes managing HR systems such as Paychex Flex, maintaining accurate employee records, and developing internal policies that reflect company values and legal requirements. The position works closely with the Ex. VP of Operations and Ex. VP of Sales & Engineering to support both strategic and operational HR initiatives across the organization.
As Sikla USA is in the process of building its HR infrastructure, this role also involves actively shaping and establishing foundational HR structures, processes, and best practices to support a growing organization.
Manage and oversee all core HR functions, including employee records, time and attendance, absence tracking, and work agreement preparation.
Coordinate and support management with recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and on-/ offboarding procedures.
Administer payroll processing via Paychex Flex, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Develop, maintain, and update company and employee policies in line with legal requirements and company values.
Support employee relations, performance reviews, and feedback processes.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, internal procedures, and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
Collaborate with leadership to build and implement foundational HR structures and best practices.
Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees and managers across departments.
Provide HR reports, HR Dashboard info, PTO reports etc. as required.
This role may also include supporting additional administrative or cross-functional tasks, such as office management or departmental coordination, as needed and depending on workload capacity. Flexibility and a proactive mindset are essential, as the position may evolve with the needs of the organization.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred).
Minimum of 3- 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, ideally in a generalist or managerial role.
Solid knowledge of U.S. labor laws, HR compliance, and best practices.
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems; Paychex Flex experience is highly desirable.
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with HR reporting and KPI tracking is a plus
Permanent Position: This is a permanent role.
Full-Time Employment: Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (including a 1-hour lunch break).
Location: Suwanee 30024, Georgia.
