About the Role:
Akeyless Security delivers a cloud-native SaaS platform that integrates Vaultless Secrets Management, Certificate Lifecycle Management, Next Gen Privileged Access Management (Secure Remote Access), and Encryption Key Management to manage the lifecycle of machine identities and secrets across environments.

As an Enterprise Business Development Representative , you will:
- Identify, qualify, and schedule outbound and inbound new logo business opportunities to hand off to Regional Sales Managers.
- Conduct daily prospecting and outreach via cold calling, email, socials, etc.
- Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers, Solutions Architects, Marketing, and others as the front line of our new business generation process.
- Participate in team training sessions, role plays, and professional development opportunities.
- Communicate with a highly technical audience ranging from management to C-suite executives.
- Travel to attend industry events and trade shows.
- Daily use of tools such as LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, etc.
- Maintain a daily learner\'s mindset, being coachable and open to feedback.

Requirements:

Requirements:
- Minimum of one year sales/XDR experience in cybersecurity/SaaS or an adjacent industry.
- Experience with prospecting and lead qualification/generation tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, intent-based platforms).
- Ability to balance daily tasks (cold calling/emails/social outreach; prospecting; meetings) with drive and self-starter mentality.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and persuasion skills, including active listening and ability to engage prospects.
- Ability to travel to industry events and trade shows as needed.
- Strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and DevOps/Information Security roles as related to new business sourcing.
- Coachable, competitive nature; self-starter mentality; and a learner\'s mindset.
