Job Description

Oaxaca Youth Empowerment (OYE) is seeking an individual to fill a development consultant role. This person will be responsible for seeking out different funding opportunities for OYE. This may include grants, government funding, and individual donors. We are looking to diversify our income streams and are looking for the right person to improve our fiscal sustainability. We are a small, close knit team and our work often requires flexibility and willingness to take on a new responsibility or project. The Individual Will Have The Following Skillset Experience working in development and/or fundraising in the public or private sector Proven track record of securing funding for an organization Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Comfortable working in a remote environment and self-motivated to complete tasks and projects with little or no supervision Commitment to social justice and a sense of humor are a must About Oaxaca Youth Empowerment We are a 501c3 non-profit organization based in the United States with the mission of reducing barriers to education for young people in Oaxaca, Mexico.
