Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Delivery Specialist/Long Haul Driver is the lifeline to our customers and business partners. Happy, Hungry, & Focused customer service is an absolute must as we expect this role to assist in building upon our wonderfully established relationships with our business partners/clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of delivery driving experience, customer service experience, and a clean driving record.

  • You are comfortable with a flexible schedule and the opportunity to travel to territories outside your normal radius

  • You have solid verbal and written communication skills which enable you to provide top notch customer service and connect with individuals at all levels

WHAT YOU'VE DONE:

  • Minimum 1 year of delivery/long haul driving experience
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
  • Box truck experience preferred
  • Cannabis experience is a plus
  • Comfortable with technology and learning new apps and systems
  • Flexible with handling continuous change
  • Detail oriented and able to keep meticulous records of paperwork

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Make B2B deliveries daily to our valued clients in cannabis dispensaries
  • Make procurement/ product pick ups from our business partners
  • Long Haul route once per week on average
  • Manage inventory for deliveries and pick-ups
  • Handle cash when picking up payment for accounts receivable
  • Follow internal procedures and SOP's to keep cash organized and protected
  • Complete daily reports associated with deliveries and pick-ups
  • Provide outstanding business partner/client service
  • Share product knowledge with business partners/clients as directed

  • Maintain company confidentiality
  • Collaborate with sales team to assist with supporting delivery changes, sharing product issues, communicating payment matters, etc.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to drive a van and/or car for eight (8) – twelve (12) plus hours daily
  • Able to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs daily
  • Able to stoop, stretch, twist, bend, etc.
  • Good vision and hearing
  • Consistent, reliable, and punctual attendance for all scheduled shifts
