Stratas Foods LLC is the leading supplier of fats and oils to the Foodservice, Food Ingredients and Retail Private Label markets in North America and is a producer of quality bulk and packaged dressings, mayonnaise and sauces. Stratas Foods was formed in October 2008 as a 50/50 joint venture between ACH Food Companies (ACH) and Archer Daniels Midland (ADM).

Manufacturing facilities are located in Dallas and Houston, TX; Decatur and Quincy, IL; Englewood and Hillside, NJ; Fresno, CA; Nashville, TN; and Valdosta, GA. Job Description

The purpose of the Corporate Plant Training Supervisor (CPTS) is to oversee and manage the training, development, and onboarding programs within Stratas Foods’ manufacturing facilities. The CPTS will design, implement and evaluate training programs that enhance the technical skills, safety, performance, productivity, and quality of work of the manufacturing employees, in each of our production locations. The CPTS will supervise a team of trainers, providing guidance and support to each.

1. Work with Training & Development Manager to evaluate organizational performance to develop and deliver training to meet business needs and improve performance.

1. Design and develop specialized training programs and materials for manufacturing colleagues, focusing on technical skills, leadership skills and onboarding.

1. Optimize training processes for efficiency.

1. Support training teams with leadership and team member onboarding and ongoing trainings to establish and support core culture as well as deploy SPS concepts to the production floor.

1. Identify and assess the training needs of the plant operations through job analysis and consultation with managers.

1. Position would be responsible for leading Stratas site on Training journey. Position could require up to 50% travel. Travel and fill in/supplement when a Stratas location requires Training assistance.

1. Work closely with cross functional teams to identify and implement opportunities to drive improvements across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People and Leadership.

1. Utilize various training methods, including technology and e-learning platforms to enhance the accessibility and effectiveness of training programs.

1. Maintain records of training activities and provide regular reports on training metrics, outcomes and compliance to senior management.

1. Resolve any specific problems through tailored training programs as necessary.

1.  Supervise a team of trainers, providing guidance and support to ensure consistency and high quality of all training/onboarding within operations.

1. Communicate with management, trainers, and team members to ensure that all needs are being met.

Competencies

1. Analytical Skills - Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.

1. Computer skills – Have demonstrated excellent skills specifically related to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint), PowerBI and ERP Systems

1. Problem Solving - Solves complex problems through decision making, influence, extensive research, analysis and evaluation of multiple variables.

1. Communication - Excellent oral and written communication skills with proven ability working with all types of individuals from corporate to plant. Experience challenging business units and other departments on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans with specific focus on end-to-end execution and impact on downstream processes/systems.

Education:  HS diploma or equivalent

Related Experience:  3-5 years -Ability to design and implement effective technical and safety training programs; in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality control practices.

Equipment / Software Skills:  High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, ERP System(s), Downtime Reporting applications, Maintenance Software
