HireNow Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to join a leading healthcare organization in Everett, WA . This is a vital, full-time role for a clinical expert who is passionate about elevating patient care, supporting nursing staff, and driving evidence-based practice across hospital departments.
Position Overview:
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will serve as a clinical leader and educator, advancing nursing practice, improving patient outcomes, and providing direct consultation on complex cases. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, lead quality improvement initiatives, and help shape clinical policy and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a clinical expert in a designated specialty area (e.g., critical care, med-surg, oncology, etc.)
Lead the development and implementation of evidence-based practices
Provide direct support and consultation to nursing staff on complex patient care cases
Mentor nurses and facilitate continuing education and clinical training programs
Analyze clinical outcomes and drive quality improvement efforts
Participate in policy development, research, and interprofessional collaboration
Qualifications:
Active RN license in Washington State (or eligibility to obtain)
Master's degree in nursing required; CNS certification preferred
Minimum 3 - 5 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting
Proven leadership, mentorship, and training experience
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
