Central Florida Therapy, a leading pediatric therapy clinic, has three positions open. As an SLP with us, you will play a crucial role in helping children with communication disorders reach their full potential. We are looking for a candidate to staff a school based contract in Winter Garden -OR- Downtown Orlando, with the opportunity to transition to another setting upon completion. This role involves supervising SLP-As at a charter school. responsibilities will include signing off on notes, developing IEPs, presence at meetings and evaluating students on caseload. There will be no scheduled clients. Possibility of 1 day remote work can be discussed.
Additional part time opportunity with option to grow, serving ABA center. (will consider SLP-A or CFY)
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in children
Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
Provide therapy sessions to address speech, language, and communication goals
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care
Document client progress, maintain accurate records, and write reports as needed
Educate and involve parents/caregivers in therapy goals and strategies
Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid license to practice as an SLP in the state of Florida
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Experience working with pediatric populations (clinical internships included)
Strong knowledge of assessment and treatment techniques for speech, language, and communication disorders in children
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preference will be given to those that have a valid Medicaid number in the state of Florida
Upon meeting full time employment for 3 months, eligible for benefits to include health insurance and PTO.
