Description:

MaxIQ is seeking a driven and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our fast-growing team in Raleigh. As a BDR, you’ll play a critical role in fueling our growth by generating pipeline and identifying new sales opportunities. You’ll be the first point of contact for prospects, helping to educate them on MaxIQ’s value and qualify their fit. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performance sales organization at a pivotal moment in our journey.

Responsibilities include:
- Prospect and identify potential customers through outbound calls, emails, and social outreach.
- Qualify leads and schedule discovery calls for the Account Executive team.
- Maintain a deep understanding of MaxIQ’s value proposition and tailor messaging to resonate with different buyer personas.
- Research target accounts to uncover pain points and key decision-makers.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales to execute targeted outreach campaigns.
- Track activities and maintain up-to-date records in CRM (Salesforce or equivalent).
- Continuously test and optimize messaging to improve conversion rates.
- Stay informed on industry trends and the competitive landscape to engage prospects effectively.
- Consistently hit and exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline generation goals.

Requirements:

0–3 years of experience in a Business Development or Sales Development role, ideally in SaaS or tech.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a natural curiosity and passion for learning.
Resilient, self-motivated, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized under pressure.
Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales prospecting tools (Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.).
Excellent spoken and written English.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in sales tech or working with Go-To-Market teams.
Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
