Assistant Professor within the Behavioral and Social Science Department of the College of Liberal and Performing Arts; nine month; tenure track; starting August 2025.
Duties: teach Behavior and Social Science topics in Criminal Justice, research methods, international law, and private security; advise students; serve on committees; engage in scholarly activity and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: earned doctorate in Criminal Justice or ABD; minimum two (2) years teaching experience or demonstrated evidence of effective teaching; practical experience and expertise in the use and preparation of instructional technology in the teaching/learning process; familiarity with Blackboard is a plus. The Criminal Justice program is one of four majors with in the Department of Behavioral and Social Science in the College of Liberal and Performing Arts. The department offers Bachelor’s degrees in psychology, social work, and criminal justice.
